Lot Line Adjustment

A Lot Line Adjustment is a formal process where a jurisdictional body approves the adjustment of a boundary line between two property owners and their legally recorded properties, thus changing the measurements and acreage of both properties. This is usally done by agreement between the two property owners, but sometimes it is precipitated by a court descision between two quarreling owners.
